Greetings to all,
On this day we honour our forebears (See Burchmore.net)-
BURCHMORE 1852, HARROWER 1884, RAINE 1876, HUTTON 1884 and TAYLOR 1840-who migrated to NSW, when it was still a colony. THE COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA was created in 1901.
This is our 9th year reporting on the Family Trees and the first without Ken.
Covid-19 has tragically changed the way we live, by the way, our maternal aunt Annie Ferguson Harrower b. 1885 d.1919 of the pandemic Spanish influenza.
Today is the 168th Anniversary of the arrival of the ship ‘Euphrates’ in Sydney with William Burchmore and Emma Taylor aboard.

With much sadness we report of the passing of Jean Mary Watts (nee Taylor) at the age of 105. (22 January 1914 – 23 August 2019). A grand age!
The very sad passing of Kenneth George Burchmore who was born on the same day 22 January 1929 -died on 9 December 2019 aged 90 years. He was the driving force of Burchmore.net and will be greatly missed.
He married Marjorie Lee Smith on 23 December 1959 in Singapore, and they were going to celebrate their 60th Wedding Anniversary just 14 days short!
