William Burchmore was born in this Row End Farmhouse where,in 1852 the walking stick helped him decide on New South Wales as his future home. When we visited Phil and Connie Rowe,the residence had been modernized many times since successive generations of Burchmores had farmed the acreage.
Phil told us tales of George Birchmore(1784-1843)and his plowing and drainage innovations as a yeoman farming the 144 acres of the titled owner.
